The ED Greeter under the direction of the ED Charge Nurse and under the supervision of the nursing personnel will be responsible for performing routine clerical, receptionist and communication functions in the ED. The ED Greeter will assist the RN staff as directed.

High school or equivalent plus formal specialized, short-term training in basic patient care (CNA, Military medical training, EMT-B, NA, Nursing student who has completed a skills lab) or at least 6 months experience in direct patient care required. Must be able to perform physical tasks such as lifting (up to 50lbs. Supplies), transferring patients in wheelchairs and stretchers, and walking and/or standing 60% of the time. Must have a minimum of AHA BLS for Health Care Provider.

 Additional Information

Weekend and/or Holiday Rotation may be required.
