Position Summary: The Registered Nurse is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate the nursing care for a designated group of patients. The Registered Nurse supports and implements the philosophy, goals and standards of Solaris Health System, the Nursing Department and assigned unit. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patients’ status. The individual shall display competence and care/treatment for population served.
Work Experience: 1-2 years acute hospital experience preferred.
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
Technical/Equipment: Demonstrates effective communication skills. Demonstrates the ability to successfully complete orientation and all associated competencies.
Licensure/Certification/Special Skills: Current Registered Nurse license by the State of New Jersey. BLS required upon completion of orientation. Completion of the Cardiac module of the Critical Care Course, Stroke Unit Education with competency for the care of the stroke patient,
